Artist Hunter Taylor

Through this work Ms. Taylor strives to reconnect with the grandeur of nature as seen through a microcosmic representation and inspire others to a heightened awareness of the interconnection of all life in our technology - focused world.

A. Hunter Taylor studied art and art history in Cortona, Italy and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing and Painting from the University of Georgia. She attended the Governor's School of North Carolina in Visual Arts. Ms. Taylor has been a member of both the Orange County Art Commission and the Art Advisory Board of the Arts Center in Carrboro, North Carolina. She has taught both secondary and adult education in private and public institutions.

Ms. Taylor is a juried member of the Pastel Society of America and the Associated Artists of Winston-Salem. She has been awarded Signature Member Status by the Pastel Society of North Carolina. Ms. Taylor's works are in private and public collections including AT&T, SunTrust Bank, Bank of America, Wells Fargo / Wachovia Bank, Potlatch Corporation, GlaxoSmithKline, Norvant Health and the City of Cary, NC. Ms. Taylor was interviewed for a podcast on Faith and Painting, Episode 5 by St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in Hillsborough, NC.
